In the interest of keeping everyone hungry, from looking at the pics of salmon eggs on the coldwater forum, here are a few pics of my fried eye's..eyes from a recent trip I took with TTJLN & Wormslayer (http://northwestfishing.info/showthread.php?t=946)...

No just some walleye and tator tots we cookered up here bout a week ago, no big deal, but I am still willing to bet that these photos can make you hungry. I should know I just edited them, and Chrissy suggested we have some fried walleye for dinner....I still have some...

Using the power of the internet we found out how to fixer up these here walleyes all good and crispy like!

Fillet them up and unzip the y bone then rinser then off in the collander. No bones and no fatty area left. Just good clean ready to fry eye :p

Whip up some chicken eggs with salt & pepper and throw the eyes in for a swim! Then roll em throught a mix of unbleached flower and shake & bake! No for real! Kinda like being tarred up & feathered (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarring_and_feathering) :D

Not sure, I am also a big fan of cod and rockfish...IM thinking the walleye is very much like rockfish, but cod is hard to beat :p Anything goes for breakfast at 2:oo PM?

I was just wondering cause rockfish is sure good and everything including the fat on those filets looks like like rockfish!
Didn't have a chance between chores to cook this morning so food had to wait till almost 3 haha. Hash browns and bacon!

Did someone say cod? It's one of my favorites. I actually prefer Cod over Halibut.

Oh yes greenlings I asume you mean are the best I love how their meat can be all different color from green to blue and pink to purple. I think just depends on what they have eaten the most of. As for eyes you can have 'em I can't get past the smell to get to the meat.
