I am always trying my hardest to create things that grow on their own but the simple truth is that there are always a few key people along the way that help open doors and break through road blocks when your doing this sort of thing. I just want to take a minute and make it known that we have nothing but Big Thanks for these good folks. This is not about dropping names, mostly history now. This is about a heartfelt recognition of their willingness to share a small part of their dreams and hard work to benifit ours. I hope that down the road as we continue to grow we can do the same for others new to this scene that need that same sort of help.
Bill Monroe - Bill helped us get some very much needed exposure and would take nothing in return. I have been told he calls it how he see's so we should be very proud he decided to do a great article on PGP and GSWD. I had alot of people asking about the article. As far out as 7 or 8 months after people I would talk to would mention that they saw the article. A humbling experiance to see what kind of good this sort of thing can do...
Jenny Logsdon Martin - She gave us one of the first major lanes to throw out our media on her ifish.net (http://www.ifish.net) forum. It must be very tough and take a special person to handle the awesome amount of stuff that comes with such a community. Although we are not currently making a presence on ifish.net we will always have a great deal of respect for her and the ifish operation and all that she does to help thousands of other online people like us. We do always notice when she does something to help us out, always. We will also always maintain a postive friendly relationship from our forum to her forum.
Mark Anderson - Mark is a skilled tackle maker whom makes a fine jig that has caught me ALOT of steelhead now since I have known him. Now my own ego may be to much to allow him credit for me catching a bunch of fish but I certainly an very proud of the "Art of the Jig" video he hired me to shoot with him in 2006/2007. One of PGP's first major projects, we had much to learn but he did believe we could do it and we did.....I do not think he knows this yet but in 20 years people will be watching it and saying "this is such a classic fishing video now" I know this because IM still watching VHS fishing video tapes shot in the 80's. If you want to learn how to tie and fish steelhead jigs, we made that video through hard work and determination and I promis you will learn what you need from it. Mark will put his name behind it like he did for us when we shot the film.
Our friends and viewers - Even if you do something good you can not grow without people enjoying it....That simple....For 2 years now people have been saying "we are enjoying this stuff", without that we could not have grown. Although I do remember all of the names and face there are to many now to list. Many have shown a very dependable interest and passion in fishing and in learning how to fish from what we release. Some then tell me all about how it happened. It is for them that we wish this forum to serve.
Thank you : )
Sincerely
