Yeah I was on then and I checked the IP addresses and they all came from something called Beijing Telecom... there has been alot of that kinda stuff lately.

Maybe they are are trying to pick up a few tips on how to fish the chineese rivers?

They were trying to pick up some pointers on fishing for taimen in Mongolia.

I found one spammer that had an IP adress with long and lat numbers for the middle of a corn field in Amish country Penn. They are everywhere.

what does the spam bots do i know on other sites they put up BS post evan seen some XXX ones go up befor... or are the moderators here just that kick ass we dont see them?

Chrissy has some stuff in the registering that kinda picks them out and us mods find the post(if Matt and Chrissy end up aproving their registration)and get them off right away.

Usually It means we have a patch coming out soon when we have large number of spammers trying to register=) Sorry gang we don't approve users with india ips. You'll have to learn to fish there elsewhere!

This is a true cyber attack....The ones that slam you with multiple accounts with one IP. We do not know how they do this. It is like pounding an avatar based chat palace or a hard ping to your server, ping of death even....its an attack and there is no good intent from it. VB loads a patch every now and then that slows them down. We have learned to spot the spam but a few get through the cracks every now and then because their programs generate U.S. based names for their accounts. This amount of users we see from this post was prolly the result of a spam attack from Asia.

I like to see how many of our guest are real people when I get on here and we still have a few bots/spammers but right now 10 out of the 15 guests are people that is probley the highest nuber I've seen yet. People are checking out the Floatilla.
