For the first few years of our video ventures our original Pacific Ghost Productions web site pretty much carried us along just fine as we got noticed but I wanted to do something different for 2009. So taking some time to think about it I just always liked the way it looked and just can see laying this old friend to rest like so many other sites we have rebuilt and tossed. It has a sort of natural outdoorsy feel with antique colors that are calming and classy. I could not bring myself to flip the house and paint it a bunch of bright colors like the network. I asked Chrissy to rebuild the site using her newer knowledge of PHP scripting and just tighten it up, creating the same site but more stable and streamlined overall. We tweaked the color to green a little more then the orignal orange but left the same feel intact.

I had myself yet another crash course in web development this last week and at times I could have just pass out from eye strain! It may look the same to many but I can assure you its not....its all in the code

Better to work on these now so I can fish next week : )

As always she created exactly what I felt would be best for our dear old friend Pacific Ghost Productions (http://www.pacificghostproductions.com/)

PM me with your browser type if errors occure, thank you

Happy New Year!

Nice job on the site. I must say, however that I was more partial to the orange. But the green grows on me...

One suggestion... I stared at the landing page for the longest time waiting for the site to load... maybe some text like "click banner to enter site" or an auto redirect after a period of time. When I turned up the volume the music is great.

Otherwise, no errors and the site seems to run great. .php will go a long ways to protect your site, facilitate database functions and simply run better.

Cheers

LOL good point Ed, it may surprise you to know that the old gateway did say "ENTER" For some odd reason I pulled it off during a graphic edit and never put it back! lol.....well thanks for pointing that out, its an easy graphic fix : )

I scraped the old movie so that only thing to load in gateway was music clip, and anything above 56k should have no trouble...IM sure they old gate with video was much slower load but I can never tell because IM on Cable speed......
