Xmas Lights at the Grotto

Matthew and I wanted to do something Christmassy so we decided to go to the Grotto where they have some Christmas lights and choirs from schools etc. I go there often in the spring when the flowers are blooming to take pictures of the roses. Theres some great photo ops!

I have to say the best part is seeing the choirs perform. They have a different one every hour in the evenings from like nov 28 until the 1st of Jan. Must be a lot of planning!

[Chinook SSSF]

I hope they did not loose to much of their annual festival income this year...the snowstorm hit just a day or so after we visited. It was cold then but no snow and you could still get around...not sure how it was the next week, getting all those high schools and visitors around with snow and ice. I also agree that the live music is the best part : )
