Awe come on lightnings not that bad you just have to remember to replenish your electrolites or you can die 3 days later of dehydration. I've been very close to strikes before and it is pretty scary when you relize what just happened fortunately I was in a car both times and generaly safe.

There was a guy that owned and ran the knife shop in down town Nehalem ( he since moved to Wheeler ) . He got hit by lightning and lived. He said it hurt pretty good.

My dad and Tracy are electricians and I've heard some stories about just regular current for your house, lightning will make you crap yourself and bite your tounge off. Our youngest has shocked himself pretty good several times, dont ever pull tweezers far enough apart to fit one end in each hole of an outlet, his eyes were pretty big after that.
