:D thanks for the offer! We couldn't take it and decided to head to the coast for the weekend tomorrow night. Can't beat a high of 67. Too bad the marine layer will be in full strength.

Dude,
If you're headed to the coast bring your rod and some spinners. They have slayin the silvers faster than they breathe out there. My buddy's brother went out with 3 guys next to garibaldi and every one of them had their limit (now 3/day bc of the surplus fish) in 30 minutes! Honestly I wish I could be out there right now. Don't pass it up man
Have fun in the cool weather

:) If only I didn't get super sea sick when I go out. Tried a 5 hour bottom fish trip last month and spent most of the trip laying down in the galley after having multiple vicious episodes of sickness. Thought I was getting over it until the guy next to me started smoking.....almost killed me. Hell, I even got too sick on the Columbia by Chinook last year.

Have you tried Dramamine or Bonine? Something else that works well to combat diesel fumes and cigarette smoke is Vicks Vapor Rub. Take some with you and rub it under your nose. Just my $.02

Never tried the Vicks rub, but being a Scuba addict, I tried a lot of different remedy's to help combat the 26 mile trip to Catalina from Long Beach, dramamine works the best for me so I thought I'd be okay.
I got decent sleep the night before and took a dram and drank lots of water before I went to bed, when I got up I took another dram and drank more water, then once we started out from the dock on the boat, I took another dram. No dice. :( With Scuba, I'd do that but I would also sleep until we got to the island, then I'd just get dressed quickly and jump into the water....once I'm under the surface, I'm fine.
I've just accepted the fact that I'll be fishing from the bank, or in calmer waters till I want to torture myself long enough to get my sea legs.

you got 85? wow nice dude, thats the good thing about the hills....
It is much hotter in East Ptown right now...but cooling is expected and clouds are beggining to float around blocking the sun in spots.,
I noticed and heard the fish [all of them] do not seem to care for this either ...

Back from the coast....wow, it was nice sitting around in shorts and occasionally feeling cold. :) The wife liked it so much, she packed up the kid and is already on her way back out there. HAHA....why do I have to be the one that works!?!
Oh well, I guess I have some free time to recon the Clack at low water this week. :D Probably go toss some shrimp along the bottom tonight.
