NFM Curing Clips on GPS Next 2 Sundays! FYI

Yes it's true! Our 2 newest NFM clips on egg curing that are plugged into the curing tutorial are going to be on Outdoors GPS Sunday and next Sunday between 8:00 and 9:00 am. Hope you get a chance to catch the show! I am very glad to be working with GPS on these clips. This is a great collaboration between 2 great Portland based educational Northwest fishing media outlets! I just like the sound of that.... You know if its good and long, it must mean something good, even if I just made it up....

Getting to know Bitsy Kelley has been a real big pleasure. You find out right away that she enjoys what she does on GPS and takes organizing each of her shows to heart. She is one of the most personable and friendly people I have ever worked with. In working with us I know she was hoping to find good qaulity educational media to bring to her viewers. We know she was looking for something that viewers could sink their teeth into and learn from. This is also the type of media I try to bring to SSSF so the idea is right on track with our own imaginary agenda. We are very happy to create and share our media with her show to accomplish that goal.

In these 2 clips I will illustrate how to properly butterfly your salmon egg skeins for the curing process and how to properly apply the cure powder to the eggs. Simple stuff but I just know that you can learn something new from at least one of these clips. Seeing them on TV will give you a front row seat with a close up view! Well maybe not that exciting but if your around and get a chance to check them out, be sure to let us know what you think.

This is very cool, the "simple stuff" you speak of is great info to alot of us rookies out there, it is second nature I am sure to alot of you guys but I for one have never butterflied a skein of eggs and have no idea how to properly apply cure, so this is the kind of stuff I eat up and I am sure alot of others do as well so once again thanks matt for the awesome info I cant wait to catch a fish with some usable eggs so I can put that egg curing tutorial to use And I will definitely tune in on sunday to check it out on TV. Just got done watching your segment on Outdoor GPS, and as usual, great job! I am sure the more people that watch this program will be jumping on board to this community, only making it that much stronger and more informative for all of us!

I want to thank Matthew for doing such a great job on the curing videos that aired Last weekend and Saturday 10/17 on Outdoor GPS Show. Being in the bait and curing business. There are lots of people that don’t really know how to cure a great egg. With these videos, people will learn how to. Cure-All has been around since the early 90's. I have been getting great result from fishing guides and personal fishermen about the cure and our cured salmon roe.

Thanks a bunch! We got totaly super feedback and response to the 2 videos and the tutorial overall! Bitsy Kelley has been a huge help to us!

She is not on this coming weekend so we will not be showing anything this weekend. I will keep you posted as to when the next one is...
