That one chromer in the box is sure a nice fish!!! man that was a nice fish....

Back in the day, we had some great trips for Astoria Sturgeon on Memorial Day Weekend.

Another option is Tillamook Springers. They are more difficult to catch and generally not as abundant, but they are a prime fish.
I can't think of more than 10 characters to talk about k? Nice fish

    Default Depends on the funds...

If I had the funds to fish where I wanted to (within reason) I would hit three rivers I have either not fish in many years or fish rivers that I have not fished yet. Places I can think of would be the Trask, I haven't fished that river in probably 6 years. I have never fished the Umpqua, Rogue, North Fork Nehalem, Kilchis and so many others. I always have my go to river, the Sandy. I think everyone knows that is my fav, I could fish all three days there and not be bummed a bit.

I'd have to agree with Matt, and say the umpqua, I'm not sure what fish are in there that time of year (springers?) I think it's to late for winters and to early for summers but I'm not certain on either of those it would be worth looking into though.

The Metolius River with a cabin, my better half and a good amount of boos for the evenings after a full day on the water. Oh and good food and cigars to. Relaxation at its best!

Ive narrowed it down to either Astoria gators since who knows how much longer they'll let us fish/keep them, or trib springers.
