Thread: SSSF Welcomes Ed Fast's River Adventures

  1. Thumbs up SSSF Welcomes Ed Fast's River Adventures

I am very happy to announce pro guide Ed Fast has decided to join forces with SSSF this year as a contributing sponsor!

Ed's trips are always an adventure that ends in fish. He has been guiding the Sandy River for 7 years now and he knows his area better than anyone! I have fished with Ed several times myself in the last 2 years and have always enjoyed my trips. If your looking for something different I suggest you give Ed a call. He runs raft trips and drift boat trips in the middle sections of the Sandy River. Beyond just fishing the scenery is great. He is also available for Eco Tours on the Sandy, bring your camera! Bald Eagles are a common site during your days outing. You can visit his web site Ed Fast River Adventures or send him a PM here on the forum if you would like to see why I am so very glad to welcome him to the network.

Beyond being a great guide he is a great and friendly person to meet and fish with. He also puts the pedal to the metal on local Sandy River conservation with involvment in several groups, CCA board and NWS. You will find Ed at the local meetings every month doing his part to keep the flame alive.

Please join me in giving Ed Fast a super warm welcome to our SSSF fishing family.

It's hard to not notice the smiles all the way around in every pic I've seen with him in it.
I'm looking forward to my first trip with Ed!

I can't wait to get out on a trip with him! Perhaps this summer, he can teach me the way of the Summer Steel on the Sandy

Well done Matt and Ed! What a dream partnership! I do not know you very well Matt, but from what I've seen you defanetly have your priorities in order.
Ed on the other hand, I have known for about three or four years know and I cannot say enough about the type of person he is....(I met him on a cedar creek cleanup that he put together). Then, you put in the fact that he is extremely versed in rafting and oarsmanship, along with the fact that he's a hell of a fisherman, oh and did Matt say something about floating Revenue to Dodge? Yep, he goes where other guides only dream of!!
    Well done fellas!!

    Awesome,

Some of you have booked already! Don't miss out on the excellent March fishery this year. Please tell your friends, etc. I would appreciate it. Also....

I offer $25/seat credit for all referrals that book a trip! So, for a full 2 seat trip, you would get $50 dollars off of your trip! (not the one your referral booked) So,If you were to get 6 seats booked over a season, you would get a FREE seat on a full day trip!

There are conditions, I.E. 3 seats in the drift boat are cheaper than just 2, so the per seat fee is cheaper. This means that my referral credit is limited to $50 per booking. Got it? Good, 'cuz I don't.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words, guys. Feel free to pm me for reports, questions.... anything, really, and I don't mind at all. You will not be solicited for a trip nor should you need to feel obligated.

I'm off to Seattle. Good luck fishing this weekend!

    Ed

Is Ed going to be chasing fish on the OP while in Seattle? I got a picture the other night from a nice friend of mine. Her, and her daughter just crushed 'em four days in a row in literally 2 drifts. A shuttle wasn't worth it when you can limit in the first 300 feet! Muscle up and row back to the launch! Good luck with your partnership here with M.C. Hope it is a rewarding experience for you. And keep the forum posted on conservation efforts, like clean-ups, and other sorts of "river help" services you have in mind.

man, if I tried to bring a rod on this trip, my family would leave me!

I haven't been north of the Queets system in 10 years, except for surfing once at Neah Bay.
